In the face of the Finkle Convoy, Trudeau stood there, bravely facing the scorn of the “fringe minority,” with both hands on his hips, and a defiant look upon his face.
The many trucks that have gathered along Wellington Street in front of the Parliament Buildings are adorned with banners denouncing public health measures and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Some warn that communism will take hold in Canada if COVID-19-related restrictions continue. Dozens of truckers blasted their horns throughout the day and into the evening.
Amid security concerns, Trudeau and his family have been moved from their home to an undisclosed location in the nation’s capital, sources said.
Just kidding. He went into hiding like a little bitch.
Trudeau and his family are no longer at their home, Rideau Cottage, which is on the property of the Governor General’s residence in the New Edinburgh neighbourhood of Ottawa — roughly four kilometres from the epicentre of the protest.
The Prime Minister’s Office said it could not comment on Trudeau’s whereabouts for security reasons. His itinerary, which normally lists the city where he’s staying, said only that he’s in the “national capital region.”
Trudeau is currently in isolation because he was a close contact to one of his children who recently tested positive for COVID-19.
But how did his child get Covid-19 if they have the vaccine? It’s almost like, shock and horror, you can never eradicate a fast mutating numerous strained disease like influenza or coronaviruses with vaccines.
I know. Actual science. Crazy aint it?
Ottawa police Chief Peter Sloly said that while organizers say the protest, which does not have a permit, will be a weekend event, “the option of [it] going into the week is also still on the table.”
Well fuck it. I’m not super invested in this in any case, but it’s fun to watch. I want this to become a complete and utter shitshow.
Remember that convoy I wroteaboutbefore? Well they’ve reached Ottawa, the nations capitol, and things are going better than I had hoped.
That’s right not really. You stay inside and whine you little bitch.
Madame Fluffy took a frightened shit in the bed. Revolution cancelled, a redditor’s kitty shit in the mattress.
“Being sieged by honking.”
This is the guy from the tweet above
Gentlemen. I know that the actual people running the Finkle Convoy aren’t actually this based. The main organizer, Tamara Lich, is going around telling people to snitch on the truckers who are saying anything “racist, aggressive, or extremist.” Even still, I just love seeing shitlibs suffer, and this is gold.
Because these people are absolutely insufferable.
Most people don’t know this about me, but I’m a former trucker myself. Almost all of these tractors are built with a bed in the back for them to sleep in. If you want a group of people who can just stay in a location for as long as their food supply lasts, you’re looking at truckers.
This could get extremely interesting over the next 72 hours.
The crowdfunding platform GoFundMe says it has released an initial $1 million of the $6.2 million collected for a convoy of truckers and their supporters now heading to Parliament Hill to protest vaccine mandates.
How generous of them, to allow these truckers to get the money that they were donated. Then again, I did get some serious red-flags when I checked out the runners of this, and suspected it of being a grift operation. However, there’s no justification for giving them one million dollars, but not the whole $6.2 million. There’s also no justification for them calling these truckers terrorists, although we don’t have confirmation that they did that.
While organizers say their movement is about vaccine mandates and insist it doesn’t support extremist rhetoric, police in Ottawa say they’re concerned about the potential for unlawful or violent activity.
I covered that here, and it’s as absurd as you think it is. Our BLM/Antifa supporting privileged class is super concerned that these truckers might suddenly do a terrorism. If you think that’s me exaggerating…
Jess Davis, president of Insight Threat Intelligence and author of a book on terrorist financing, said that while she thinks the chances of violence on Saturday are low, those who donated to the GoFundMe page need to be aware of the risks.
Boy, that sure sounds like a threat.
“They were likely donating for what they thought was going to be a peaceful protest,” she said.
“If this turns violent … I think that there’s actually a very small chance that it will happen, but if that does happen, they will have funded a violent protest.
“The bigger piece here is Canadians need to understand that funding political violence of this kind is actually a criminal offence.”
So basically if antifa/blm show up as they always do, attack these people and they defend themselves, there’s a non-zero chance that the whole outfit will be declared a terrorist organization, and everybody who gave money will be held legally liable. I don’t think these threats should be taken seriously, but for them to even make these threats speaks volumes.
The Criminal Code also prohibits the provision of financial services to individuals engaging in terrorist activity.
“If the protest turns violent, then GoFundMe could be in a bit of a tricky legal situation,” said Davis.
“But much more importantly … GoFundMe now has a lot of reputational risk that it needs to manage in terms of supporting the convoy, any potential for violence and some of the other allegations about the individuals involved in terms of extreme-right ideas and racist attitudes.”
Thanks, catlady. BTW, after some quick looking up I managed to find an article she had penned arguing that Canada should take back ISIS terrorists and charge them with nothing.
Aside from the need to mitigate this threat, there are two other core reasons to repatriate these Canadians. First, the atrocities these people supported, facilitated or committed against innocent civilians in a foreign country started here. They radicalized in Canada, and our security agencies failed to prevent them from traveling abroad despite our international commitments to prevent terrorism. To now expect the civilians whose country was terrorized by ISIS to take responsibility for our citizens, and to ask that they please do so in accordance with their international human-rights obligations is to shirk our responsibilities as a nation.
Second, Canada’s repeated failure to ensure the safe treatment and repatriation of our citizens detained in Syria, Egypt and Guantanamo Bay as part of the “war on terror” resulted in more than a decade of protracted and costly litigation, and two commissions of inquiry. Six men (Arar, Almalki, Abou- Elmaati, Nureddin, Abdelrazik,Khadr) who our security agencies were once relieved to have off Canada’s streets because of their apparent links to terrorism received apologies and multimillion-dollar settlements because the government’s (in)action ultimately contributed to their mistreatment at the hands of brutal foreign states. Sticking our head in the sand last time cost Canadian taxpayers dearly. There is no reason to think the result will be any different this time.
Canadians will also have to face the fact that these individuals, sooner or later, must be reintegrated into society.
Yeah she’s garbage, which is why the CBC gives her a mic to make implicit threats against these truckers. Back to the CBC.
[Organizer Tamara] Lich has ties to the Maverick Party, a federal party with roots in Alberta separatist circles. She took to Facebook earlier this week to urge her followers to report any bad behaviour to police.
“If you see participants along the way that are misbehaving, acting aggressively in any way or inciting any type of violence or hatred, please take down the truck number and their licence plate number so that we can forward that to the police,” she said.
Encouraging the people under your care to rat each other out to the cops is not exactly inspiring. Same for comparing having to get a vaccine with the lampshadocaust, and calling Justin Trudeau a “blackface wearing nazi.”
It’s a shame these truckers are whining about “nazi shutdowns,” and all that other finklethink, since the people opposed to them are such garbage people.
Canada’s public safety minister says multiple levels of police and national security forces are preparing to deal with any threats that could erupt from extremists who have latched on to a massive truck convoy that began descending on the nation’s capital Friday.
Marco Mendicino, Public Safety Minister
The featured image in this article is actually of former Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale shaking hands with jew ethnostate former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahou. He was the Liberal PS Minister from 2015-2019, then it was Bill Blair until October 26, 2021, whereupon Marco Mendicino took over from his job as Minister of Immigration. Yes, a guy named Marco Mendicino was the Minister of Immigration.
As hundreds of trucks and other protesters make their way to Ottawa to demonstrate against vaccine mandates and other public health measures imposed to stop the spread of COVID-19, Marco Mendicino said there must be lines drawn between free speech and risks to public safety.
“We have to put our trust in the trained professionals that work within law enforcement, that work within the intelligence community, to draw those boundaries,” he said in an interview with CBC News Network’s Power & Politics.
I get serious faggot vibes from this guy, even beyond looking at his face. I really get annoyed at this privileged class fake debate about how they just love free speech but they’re forced to use censorship because these meanies are causing harm with their words. These people lie us into wars.
The very same people getting all sanctimonious about “harmful disinformation,” use lies to achieve mass murder. You’ll see a lot of fake and ghey arguments from these types. It’s tempting to engage with the premise, but it’s far more productive to deny these people the right to make those arguments altogether.
Earlier in the day, Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos defended his government’s vaccination push as the convoy of protesters opposed to vaccine mandates began descending on the city. “The enemy is not vaccination. The enemy is COVID-19 and the best tool to fight this enemy is to be vaccinated,” he said during a public health briefing Friday morning.
“We understand now there is frustration around COVID-19, but we also know that the only way to exit COVID-19 is to get vaccinated.”
Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos
Of course, vaccination for a virus that has so many different strains is a Sisyphean task. As with influenza, there are so many different strains, all of which mutate so quickly, that there will never be any sort of long term vaccination as we have with other diseases such as Polio. Frankly, everybody, Science! lover or not already knows this, as evidenced by the fact that they keep having to get these booster shots every six months.
That’s what actual Science! tells us to believe, but these vaccines are quite literally the most profitable product for Big Pharma ever, which is the actual reason why they get shilled so much. That’s why Joffrey Trudeau is telling four year olds to get really excited about New Vaccine Product, because that puts another few hundred million into the pockets of Pfizer.
Pfizer CEO (((Albert Bourla)))
Ottawa Police Chief Peter Sloly told CBC News Network’s Power & Politics that the protest organizers initially told his force the demonstration would be a weekend event, but that “the option of going into the week is also still on the table.”
Sloly said any decision to bring the protest to a close early or let it extend beyond the weekend would be based on public safety and that security services will be asking a number of key questions as the protest unfolds such as: “Are there lives at risk, are there elements of critical infrastructure that cannot function sufficiently, or at all.”
Sloly described the situation as “unique, fluid, risky and significant” and said police and security resources, including cameras, will be bolstered throughout the downtown.
“Let me be very clear. We are prepared to investigate, arrest if necessary, charge and prosecute anyone who acts violently or breaks the law in the demonstrations or in association with the demonstrations,” he said.
“We have seen in other jurisdictions where these behaviours have led to people getting injured, killed and/or incarcerated. We’re doing everything we can to ensure that that does not happen again.”
Ottawa black police chief Peter Sloly
Oh really, these vague “behaviours,” have lead to people getting “injured, killed or incarcerated”? Other than incarcerated I don’t believe you, and I don’t think for one second that this Sloly character would say the same about BLM riots, despite people actually being murdered at those.
In fact, we don’t have to hypothesize, since we have this article from 2019.
Ottawa’s first Black police chief is nearing the end of his first year on the job in a climate of intense scrutiny.
After 27 years with the Toronto police service, Sloly became chief of the OPS on Oct. 28, 2019. He has been thrust into a community where the public is more critical of the police than ever.
As the Black Lives Matter movement intensified over the spring and summer, calls to defund the police and draw attention to racial profiling have been prominent and all eyes are on Sloly to see how the OPS leadership will react.
Sloly’s history, says one expert, suggests he could be the man to spark change in Ottawa.
Before the death of George Floyd under the knee of of a Minneapolis police officer sparked international outrage, Sloly was already making serious changes to the OPS. Last January, he reintroduced a hate crimes unit that was disbanded in 2017. And he created three more Neighbourhood Resource Teams to help increase community-to-police co-operation.
Central to Sloly’s time in office will be his relationship with the police union and the union’s president, Matt Skof, who has openly criticized him.
In early September, Skof stated that Sloly had “lost the room” and ignored “inconvenient truths” after the chief published an opinion column in the Ottawa Citizen stating that the OPS is committed to solving issues of systemic racism.
So the anti-White activist police chief Peter Sloly is putting back together hate crimes units so that they can oppress White People. While I couldn’t find any quotes of him outright supporting BLM, he did allow their Ottawa struggle session to happen uninterrupted.
Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole met with some of the truck drivers participating in the protest and afterwards called in Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to meet with demonstrators and “hear their concerns.”
“Truckers are our neighbours, our family and most importantly, the are our fellow Canadians,” he said.
Erin O’Toole, cuck leader.
As expected, cuckservatives are supporting this because it’s largely harmless. Truckers protesting could easily become extremely serious, but they’d have to stop using the “muh liberal are NAZIS,” “muh lampshadocaust,” rhetoric, and instead start pointing out that these people support BLM superspreader events, refused to shut down the border in early 2020 and build quarantine facilities for Canadians traveling abroad, and are interested in nothing less than lining the pockets of Pfizers shareholders.
