I only tangentially referenced this on the site, but I had a very serious family issue come up just before July. At the time I thought this was to be a small blip on the radar as far as my productivity was concerned. I said as much on both Poast and telegram.

Instead, I had an impromptu get together with much of my extended family. I don’t get much of a chance to see that half of the family, and it was nice to have everyone getting together again. It was also nice being old enough to hang out with my aunts and uncles, but still young enough to take bike rides down to the beach with my teenage cousin.
They flew back to Ontario earlier today, and are about to land in Toronto as of time of writing. I quite enjoyed my time spent with them, if not circumstances around our meeting, but it’s over now. It was quite difficult finding the time to crank out some quality content, and I chose to downsize to three pieces per day as opposed to the usual five. I’m sure you can all understand.
We’re now back to our scheduled content.
