Fash the Nation has done good work exposing Carlson as what he is. He’s ultimately a GOP gatekeeper who flirts with the truth in order to get people to vote Republican, which is why he’s on the air. Even still, either in order to maintain credibility, or possibly as some sort of authenticity leaking through he takes Ted Cruz to task for referring to the peaceful January 6th protesters as “violent terrorists.” The video starts off with Tucker playing Ted Cruz’s speech given in congress earlier this past week.

Cruz: We’re approaching a solemn anniversary this week. And it is the anniversary of a violent terrorist attack on the capitol, where we saw the men and women of law enforcement demonstrate incredible courage, incredibly bravery, uh, risk their lives to defend the men and women who serve in this capitol.

Tucker then brings on Cruz so he can pluck his eyeballs out with a rusty screwdriver.

Tucker: Senator thanks so much for coming on. Now there are a lot of dumb people in the congress. You’re not one of them. I think you’re smarter than I am and you never use words carelessly. And yet you called this a terror attack when by no definition was it a terror attack, that’s a lie. You told that lie on purpose and I’m wondering why you did.

Attaboy Tucker. Let’s see how the pile of slime Ted Cruz spins this.

Cruz: Thanks Tucker. Look, let’s just get real here. Schlomo’s got his hand so far up my ass that he works my mouth. You know as well as I do that’s what’s going on. Cut me some slack here goy.

Okay he didn’t really say that. Instead he said:

Cruz: The way I phrased things yesterday… it was sloppy and it was frankly dumb. An-

Tucker: I don’t buy that. Frankly I don’t buy that. I’ve known you a long time since before you went to the senate. You were a supreme court contender. You take words as seriously as any man who’s ever served in the senate. And you repeated that phrase. I do not believe that you used that phrase accidentally. I just don’t.

Cruz then bloviates about how he is just a big dumb dumb, and what he actually meant to say was the tiny number of people who assaulted police officers were terrorists.

You may notice that this also doesn’t make any sense. Assaulting a police officer is not a terrorist attack. The only way it could be is if you are doing ambush attacks of the police themselves specifically to send a message, or something of that nature. People assault cops in the heat of the moment all the time, and never, under any circumstances do they get charged with terrorism unless there is clear political motive from the prosecution to do so. Carlson makes this point fairly well, albeit in fewer words, and explains that calling them violent terrorists justify the naked oppression of the Jan 6th protesters.

Cruz simply bloviates about how he’s always called people who attack cops terrorists. I mean citation needed and also that’s retarded anyway. Again, Cruz is an excellent lawyer who has won multiple times in front of the supreme court. It’s not plausible that he would accidentally make such a misstep for no reason. Tucker presses him on this, even interrupting him as he starts bloviating about election fraud.

Tucker: Wait wait. You work in the – I guess I just don’t believe you. And I say that with respect because I have such respect for your acuity and your precision. And I’ve seen it on display, I’ve covered you as a reporter. I know how you speak, and you have sat there for a year and watched people use language to distort the events of that day intentionally. “Insurrection,” “coup,” “terrorism.”

They talk about some other things WRT Jan 6th, and then get back to it.

Cruz: So of course it would be ridiculous for me to be saying that the people standing up and protesting to follow the law were somehow terrorists. I was talking about people who commit violence against cops, and you and I both agree if you commit violence against cops you should go to jail.

Tucker: Yeah, but you’re not a terrorist. You’re not. You’re a guy who assaults a cop. There’s a legal difference as you well know better than I do since you were actually in the running for the supreme court, and there’s a moral difference. Big time.

Cruz: The reason I use that word is for a decade I’ve used that word for people who violently assault cops. I used that word all through 2020 for people who violently assaulted cops and firebombed police cars.

So nice to see Ted Cruz comparing actual terrorists in antifa and BLM who openly talk about doing violence to further their goals such as firebombing police cars, and unarmed White People who thought they lived in a democracy shoving some cops who got in their faces. Thanks Cruz.

And thanks to all our brave men and women in blue who murdered and unarmed Air Force veteran because she moved from the stairs to the lobby. See she was just a terrorist according to Ted Cruz, and she deserved to be murdered.

Vote Republican goyim!
