Minnesota’s state health department has adopted new ethical standards that include considering a person’s skin color in determining who can receive a potentially life-saving treatment for Covid-19 patients.
At issue is allocation of monoclonal antibodies, which have been in hot demand and short supply after proving effective in helping to prevent Covid-19 illnesses from becoming severe. The lab-created antibodies help a patient’s immune system fight disease.
Minnesota’s revised “ethical framework” for rationing of medical care was posted late last week, noting that “race and ethnicity alone, apart from other underlying health conditions, may be considered in determining eligibility” for monoclonal antibody therapies (mAbs). The department cited a finding by the US Food and Drug Administration that race and ethnicity may place Covid-19 patients at elevated risk of progression to severe illness.
These people would never in a million years deny healthcare to black people if it was found that White People were a higher risk group for x disease. You don’t need to respond to these kinds of arguments, they’re just tactics designed to allow these people to get an advantage over you. Just call this anti-White denial of healthcare.
And it’s far from the first time. Below is from April of this year.
Vermont Governor Phil Scott has adopted a seemingly racist vaccine-distribution policy, making Covid-19 jabs available to non-white residents who are at least 16 years old but limiting the shots to those age 50 and up for whites.
If you or anyone in your household identifies as black, indigenous or a person of color (BIPOC), including anyone with Abenaki or other First Nations heritage, all household members who are 16 years,”Scott, who identifies as Republican, announced on Thursday. And to clarify, by Scott’s definition, white is not a color.
Yes, this is being done by Sheldon Adelson’s GOP. Keep that in mind in case any retards ever tell you to vote Republican or something idiotic like that.
Vermont already offers vaccination clinics specifically for people from BIPOC households. The state’s eligibility criteria also favors certain other categories of people – including conventional high-priority segments such as school and healthcare workers – and “English language learners and people in immigrant/refugee communities.” Immigrants also have dedicated clinics available to them.
“We still have much more to do to address the significant disparities in the rates of Covid-19 infection, hospitalization and death among Vermonters who are black, indigenous and people of color,” the state health department said on its website.
But critics pointed out that making potentially life-saving vaccines available based on skin color may violate both the 14th Amendment and the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which require equal treatment under the law. “This is not even close to legal,” podcast host Matt Walsh said.
Sure it violates the law, but Republicans will happily break the law and hunker down for some legal challenges when it comes time to racially discriminate against Whitey.
Vermont set up its special race-based vaccination clinics in response to a letter from “racial-justice” activists asking the government to prioritize non-whites. “What we’re asking the governor to do is to place, as a priority, the BIPOC community for vaccinations,” activist Mark Hughes of the Vermont Racial Justice Alliance said in March. “Period. Lift all of the other restrictions. Let’s go ahead and get the work done that needs to happen.”
These are the kinds of people who have the ears of Republicans. Mark Hughes from the “Racial Justice League of Vermont.” Normal White People need not raise your voice.
I do agree that these types of things should be challenged legally. Even legal failures can be used to spark outrage that can be used to drive support of a populist party.
And this also shows how utterly retarded the “muh vaxxx genocide” crowd is. Trust me, if they were killing people through vaccines, they wouldn’t be denying them to White People.

maybe they can do something about the disparity in POC STD rates while they’re at it
