This story is a full three weeks old, but I never got around to it at the time, and I still think it’s important.

CBC:

Shaylin Lussier remembers going numb and starting to cry after learning the results of a vote that will force a rainbow crosswalk brought forward by R.F. Staples Secondary School’s gay-straight alliance to be removed from town property.

No matter how many times I write about Big Pervert, I never fail to experience that feeling of bafflement, mirth, and disgust all at the same time. After a while I get partially desensitized to their vicious buffoonery, but I haven’t written about ClownWorld for a while now, and I’m at peak sensitivity. Anyway, I’m happy that she’s sad.

“It was really devastating,” Lussier told CBC News on Friday. “We worked very hard to have this.”

You’ll be shocked to find that Shaylin looks exactly how you would expect.

The vote means the town can only raise federal, provincial and municipal government flags on public property. Crosswalks in the town — located about 90 kilometres northwest of Edmonton — can also only be painted a standard white-striped pattern.

The bylaw, which goes into effect within 30 days, forces the removal of Westlock’s only rainbow crosswalk, painted last summer between town hall and the Royal Canadian Legion in support of the 2SLGBTQ+ community.

“The day we painted it … people were smiling and laughing and just having a really good time,” Lussier said.

“As the plebiscite results came out, I just cried thinking about how happy people had been on that day.”

Town staff received a petition on Sept. 15 from the Westlock Neutrality Team, led by Westlock resident Stephanie Bakker, asking council to make a bylaw “ensuring that crosswalks and flags on public property remain neutral.”

I can’t find a picture of Stephanie Bakkker, but /ourgirl/ has been campaigning against the gay for at least a few months.

CBC (December 6th, 2023):

Residents of Westlock, Alta., will vote in a plebiscite in February on a proposed bylaw that would force the town to remove its only Pride crosswalk, painted last summer.

Town council voted unanimously Nov. 27 to hold a municipal plebiscite on a proposed “crosswalk and flagpole” bylaw which would ban crosswalks or flags that support “political, social, or religious movements or commercial entities.”

The proposal aims to keep public spaces politically neutral in the town 90 kilometres north of Edmonton.

“Our community will need to make a hard choice,” Westlock’s acting mayor, Murtaza Jamaly, said in a news release. “They will need to choose if removing our community’s rainbow crosswalk sends the right message about who we are.”

The project was spearheaded by the Thunder Alliance, a group that supports members of the LGBTQ community at R.F. Staples Secondary School.

“It’s a great way for us to promote inclusion,” Jamaly told CBC News last month.

But Jamaly, the acting mayor, said he believes the town needs to govern from a place that “represents and promotes” safety and inclusion.

“Our response has continued to be that what is equal isn’t always fair,” he said.

Looks like they’ve made their decision, mayor.

This guy being the mayor of the town is an issue all of itself, although at this point I highly doubt any White politician who went through the zionist machine would act any differently. The obvious point is that the mayor, who expressed his “disappointment,” in another article, does not represent the will of the people. This is the norm in “representative democracies.” Instead, that can only be even partially achieved through citizen activists encouraging direct voting.

Issues like these are where a well organized and competent political party could start making inroads. Sadly, we currently don’t have anything like that in North America, but hopefully that will change shortly.

  1. “in support of the 2SLGBTQ+ community.”

Two-spirit is bullshit invented not by Injuns like Canadian homos pretend, but by some gay activist named Will Roscoe. Look him up; every lie has its origin in some liar.

    1. Having grown up around a reservation there do seem to be a lot of lgbt Indians.

      1. They probably just follow whatever the TV tells them to do. And in The Current Year, that means being homos.

    1. JFC, is there ANY white people in Canada anymore?

  2. That’s who we’re fighting against, crybabies who throw a tantrum when they can’t have a rainbow crosswalk. Pathetic.

  3. Queers must have constant exposure… and pink hair… and tattoos…. and shiny objects all over their bodies… because they are the most insecure dweebs on the planet and that’s saying a lot.

What they mostly want is people reacting to them – mentally ill folks never care if the attention is pos or negative… they got’s to be NOTICED… waste of bum-wipes.
