I’d heard of this guy called Act Man before. From what I can tell, he makes long video essays on video games. In fact I think I watched one of his videos on some game, Halo Infinite, because it was something of a thing how bad it was.

Actually I remember it now. It was his video on Halo 2, specifically how bullshit the legendary difficulty is.

Yeah it’s all coming back to me. I’d completely forgotten that I ever even wrote about Halo. That seems somewhat out of place for this site, but I realize that it was in the context of chirping the new Halo TV show.

In any case, the Act Man seems to be halfway between a soyboy and a chad. He’s right there in the middlezone. So of course his YouTube channel was recently demonetized.

He posted the following to his twatter profile. In response, YouTube tweeted out the following.

Before I even get into the “offending,” tweets, let’s zoom in on YouTube’s tweet.

I’m sorry, are we running out of capital letters at YouTube headquarters?

as discussed, your YPP suspension followed your now-deleted tweet threatening to dox the families of YouTube employees & creators. we don’t take these decisions lightly & want you to know we’re taking your concerns just as seriously. we’ll keep working with you directly on this

And let me fix this, with the fixes in bold.

As discussed, your YPP suspension followed your now-deleted tweet threatening to dox the families of YouTube employees & creators. We don’t take these decisions lightly & want you to know we’re taking your concerns just as seriously. We’ll keep working with you directly on this.

I could probably write an entire series just on this one tweet. Think about how “diverse,” the employee must be who wrote that tweet. This is someone who is in a position where they directly represent a trillion dollar multinational, and they can’t even hit the shift key on their keyboard. They can’t even be bothered to hit that last period.

Perhaps they were simply so assblasted by Act Man’s “now deleted tweets.” After all, this man threatened to run over the children of Google Employees with a lawnmower, right?

Well no actually. Instead he tweeted out a series of obvious jokes that the low IQ troons at Google HQ decided to pretend to take seriously, because it makes them feel powerful and important to be able to destroy the livelihoods of random people.

This is all e-drama stuff, but from what I’ve been able to pierce together, he was angry at YouTube not taking action against another YouTuber who doxxed his brother.

SportsKeeda:

It is official. YouTube has now stooped to a new low. The Act Man’s channel has been completely demonetized, and he is about to be removed from the YouTube Partner Program. The Act Man has been a part of the YouTube community for about seven years now, and all his work and loyalty to the platform have been seemingly ignored as his channel is in grave peril.

YouTube has failed to enforce its TOS (terms of service), and The Act Man’s latest video outlining the abuse of TOS and the copyright system by Quantum TV has been pulled from the platform.

There is way to tell whether Quantum TV had this video removed, but the connection is as clear as day. The Act Man’s Dark Age of YouTube video was pulled for deliberately promoting nudity, which is a baseless accusation as the video just spoke about YouTube’s shortcomings and Quantum TV’s content.

There is no excuse as to why YouTube defends Quantum TV, which is even stranger considering this is Pride Month, and Quantum TV has used hateful language when talking about the LGBTQ+ community.

Okay let’s go take a look at Quantum TV.

Real surprise how the corporation whose PR people can’t use proper punctuation sided with the Black guy over the White guy, despite the entire internet siding with the White Man.

My understanding is that Quantum TV has a history of false copyright claims, and other shady behaviour. As is said in the article, he violated YouTube’s Terms of Service, and yet isn’t being punished for this.

YouTube has failed to uphold the TOS that it stands for, and it has completely failed its content creators, who have literally given years of quality content to the platform.

What follows is the typical story of some butthurt fag trying to copyright strike criticism of himself off of YouTube. Just skim this next part.

The Act Man released a video titled Elden Ring Hot Takes. This video talked about people’s unjustified criticism of Elden Ring and how they are hating on the game just because such content can garner views. He heavily featured the now-removed Quantum TV review of Elden Ring.

After the release of the video, Quantum TV moved to flag it, citing his usual reasons. The Act Man’s video was kept on the platform, and Quantum TV was not having any of it.

The next few weeks were extremely weird. Quantum TV violated TOS and incited his band of followers who stood against his critics. As detailed by The Act Man, Quantum TV refused any form of vocal dialogue between himself and The Act Man. Quantum TV violated TOS and community guidelines yet again by contacting Act Man’s mother twice. Quantum TV threatened legal action against The Act Man’s mother and insinuated thinly-veiled threats against The Act Man and his family.

It’s this next part that’s important.

The Act Man’s latest video once again detailed the incompetence of YouTube’s review staff. Quantum TV’s multiple TOS and community-guideline violations were ignored, and Act Man’s latest video was pulled from the website due to an excess of nudity and sexual content, which is just a misguided accusation.

Clearly, the video was mass-flagged by Quantum TV’s supporters, and YouTube pulled the video without watching a second of it. The appeal to get it reinstated on the platform was rejected within 30 minutes of filing the appeal; the video in question was 50 minutes long. This makes absolutely no sense, and there is most certainly corruption at play here.

I don’t mean to laugh at these people, but it’s kind of funny that they think there’s corruption in the appeals process. The entire thing is corrupt. It’s designed to be corrupt. As I’ve detailed on numerous occasions, there are no actual rules when you get censored from these corporations. They decided that they didn’t like you, that’s it.

You can waste your time appealing, but it won’t change anything. With twitter, they took weeks to respond to my appeal. With YouTube they responded so quickly that they couldn’t have possibly re-watched my video, just like with Act Man. In both cases, the appeals process exists purely for their benefit, not yours. They don’t want any of their troon employees having too much power to go on a censorship rampage. They also want to waste the time and energy of people they want to censor. Finally, they want to the appearance of legitimacy. They’re not concerned about fairness and corruption.

I apologize if there are people who are more familiar with this case who can do a better job explaining the backstory, but I didn’t feel that was the important part.
