Quebec Premier François Legault says his government will not go ahead with a proposed tax on the unvaccinated, in order to protect “social cohesion” in the province.
Great. So now we’re all going to die from Covid-19.
Legault made the announcement at a news conference Tuesday, where he also eased restrictions on gyms and sports activities.
I think I’m going to throw up. Easing restrictions on gyms and restaurants, what is the world coming to? Hello people. We’ve got a disease with a 99.9993% survival rate for people under the age of 40 with no pre-existing conditions. That means some people die, which means that all actions taken by the government are justified, except shutting down BLM chimpouts and closing the borders. Those would be xenophobic Aryan Supremacy.
Legault says while his government has a bill ready to go, he’s decided not to table it after seeing “growing discontent” in the population.
“I understand that this divides Quebecers and right now we need to build bridges,” said Legault. “My role is to try to bring Quebecers together to stay united as a people.”
I wonder if he ever even had a plan. Quebecers were getting pissed that their province, unlike all other provinces, had a curfew for no discernable reason. They also had a huge shortages of nurses. So he pretends to have this unpopular new tax, which he then cucks on to seem reasonable, and distract from his other failings.
Could go either way. In any case, there’s no more unvaccinated tax.
