Times Colonist:

Just 33 days after David Eby called a snap election, he congratulated Conservative leader Lorne Doerkson on his victory and resigned as leader of B.C.’s New Democrats.

One month ago David Eby, former BC NDP leader and premier, presided over a majority Government with two full years of uncontested rule remaining. He decided to call a snap election, got blown out, and immediately resigned. I’m trying to write this in a way that doesn’t seem celebratory, but there’s no way to objectively state this sequence of events in a way favourable to this man. To describe Eby’s behaviour accurately is to ruthlessly mock him.

For those who don’t follow Canadian provincial politics, the Conservative Party of BC is a neo-con party, and the NDP is the neo-lib party. Neither have anything to offer anyone normal. I’m writing this article as a relatively non-partisan observer, partly because this was an absurd sequence of events worth commentary, and partly because I have special insight into this election in particular.

Voting for the province-wide municipal elections overlapped heavily with the provincial election – more on that later – and I managed to get side gigs as a low level grunt working in both. The pay was about $350 per day, which sounds pretty good until you realize that these days are, bare minimum, thirteen hours long. My provincial election work started at 6:45 in the morning and ended after 9:15 at night. At least I was blessed with normal coworkers which made the entire experience manageable.

A large part of my incentive in taking these jobs was to see firsthand how airtight our elections truly are. In short, there are serious issues, but I’ll save that for a later article. For now, we’ll assume the results are genuinely representative of the actual votes cast, which I think is pretty accurate anyway. Those results prove beyond a reasonable doubt that David Eby is an undiagnosed Thalidomide baby.

The BC Conservatives were a powerless minority party. They now have a 69% share of the legislature. Enough that they’ll have no one to blame but themselves.

Eby called the snap election just after the former Conservative leader, Kerri-Lynne Findlay, resigned in late September. Supposedly, this meant that the neo-con party was in turmoil, and therefore would be easy to defeat. This was a pretty moronic theory for a number of reasons that I would have given long before the votes were in.

First of all, no real justification for the election was ever given, because there wasn’t one, which meant that everyone understood what was going on. Just about the only thing I heard about the election when out and about was some variation of “can you believe the NDP called this incredibly early election when the Conservatives have no leader? What a dick move.”

Most voters are extremely low information, especially when it comes to provincial elections. For many, maybe even most, Eby’s sliminess became the defining issue of this election, which turned it into a sort of implicit referendum on whether Eby and the NDP should be rewarded for their underhanded bullshit. Undecided voters swung massively against him, and a lot of NDP diehards were convinced to stay home.

CBC (September 20th):

There has been widespread speculation that Premier David Eby may call a snap election in the coming days, disrupting municipal elections — set for Oct. 17 — with a provincial vote.

This was exacerbated by the NDP’s audacity to throw a snap provincial election at the same time as province wide municipal elections were set to occur, with huge overlap in advanced voting. Making it even worse, the municipal elections started and finished one week before the provincial elections. As a result, they got first dibs on all the best voting spots, something the city bureaucrat running my orientation made a point to gleefully state. The provincial election was left with voting areas that were out of the way, had no parking, or were otherwise undesirable for a variety of reasons. All of which partially filtered out less motivated voters in an election where a huge number of voters were motivated by the prospect of punishing Eby for his sneaky bullshit.

Additionally, while working the municipal election I turned away more than a dozen people who showed up thinking they could vote in the provincial election, and I wasn’t even working the door. The guy who was said he turned away a ton of people that we never saw. Some even got to the point where they were filling out their ballot only to realize it was for the wrong election.

All of these people left frustrated, and the staff had no real choice but to apologize, and then explain to them that it wasn’t their fault that the provincial Government called a snap election, with it being pretty obvious who they should blame. Voting is a huge time investment, and I think a decent percent of NDP voters who’d had their time wasted just decided to stay home, and a few undecided voters swung neo-Con because of this.

Hamish Telford, a political scientist at the University of the Fraser Valley, says it would be unusual for a government to call an election when the official opposition has no leader.

“I imagine the NDP war room is in full crisis mode now trying to figure out what to do,” he said.

However, while the aforementioned factors certainly do matter, the above is the main reason why I’m writing this article. I have to object to the moronic groupthink forced meme that is being pushed by zionist media, that the NDP had an advantage through the Conservative party being leaderless. No, the NDP was massively disadvantaged by the Conservative party being leaderless, because everybody hates party leaders.

The current leader of the federal Conservative Party of Canada is Pierre Poilievre. With the possible exception of Mark Carney, he’s the shittiest politician in all the land.

Poilievre is a caricature of a neo-con. Extremely pozzed on domestic issues, yet he “makes up” for that by being wearing a kippah and promising infinite goyblood for Israel.

He’s even made undertones about shutting down Canada’s socialist healthcare system.

Which is pretty rich coming from a guy who has never worked a private sector job, and had a full taxpayer funded pension from the age of 30.

Former neo-Con party leader.

Poilievre replaced this guy, who was somehow even more of a clown. I still occasionally spontaneously remember his “epic own” of Trudeau, when he told him he should maybe start working at the outhouse instead of parliament. It sounded like something Brick Tambolini, the retarded guy from Anchorman, might think was a sick burn.

O’Toole replaced Andrew Scheer, who honestly might be worse than both of them. I really hate to use this kind of language, but I can’t think of any better way of describing him but as a low T beta who used to have a personal, meaningful relationship with his wife’s bull, until he found out that he once moderately criticized Israel on social media.

The reason everyone eventually hates all party leaders, neo-libs included, is because they’re puppets who serve as the face of their zionist-capitalist owners. They don’t really have power, they’re glorified public relations officers and their job is to push a steaming pile of hot garbage. Leadership elections for these parties are totally locked down, and they explicitly exclude anyone who deviates from the actual bosses agenda. The federal Conservative Party took that to such an extreme that they banned anyone who opposed abortion from running for leadership. Yes, you read that correctly. Being against abortion in any way, excludes you from neo-con party leadership.

Imagine for a minute that neo-con leader Poilievre suddenly died of a heart attack. Even with the knowledge that an interchangeable puppet will take his place, it’s difficult to not feel better about the party. The system behind the puppet remains, but the grotesque face of the system is gone. Not only that, the specific things that Poilievre did haven’t been done by the new puppet, which makes it more difficult rhetorically to get other people to hate the new guy.

For example, Poilievre crossed the aisle to vote for NDP legislation that would throw people in jail for supporting “trans deconversion therapy,” aimed at minors. This was never defined, so theoretically it could include something as innocuous as talking to a kid and saying “hey, I think some weirdos who don’t have your best interests at heart are trying to groom you, maybe think twice about that.” That rhetorical killshot against Poilievre’s fake “anti-woke” nonsense wouldn’t exist were he replaced with another interchangeable mouthpiece.

So if everyone hates party leaders, how do they keep getting elected? Well, they get saved by running against other party leaders. As the old South Park sketch shows, it really is a Turd Sandwich running against a Douche Nozzle. Politics under managed democracies are competitions to see which party is hated more, and it only helps parties when they lack a leader to coalesce the hatred around.

All of Canada even saw a prime example of this just a year ago in the federal election. The federal neo-cons, lead by Pierre Poiliecre, were projected to crush the federal neo-libs, lead by Joffrey Trudeau. Then Trudeau resigned, and Poilievre was forced to run against a largely unknown mystery puppet in Mark Carney. Carney had about one percent of the name recognition as Trudeau, and therefore one percent of the built up public animosity. As a result, the neo-cons were blown out by the neo-libs.

Is Carney actually good? Is he going to govern better than the “progressive except Palestine” Trudeau? Is he the fresh face in Canadian politics who will finally start governing on behalf of the people? Could it be possible that the former Governor of both the Bank of Canada and the Bank of England is the steely eyed populist leader who’s going to forge a new destiny for Canada by –

Lol. LMAO even.

Carney currently enjoys decent polling. So did Trudeau at one point. It’s called the honeymoon period, and it’ll come to a harsh, abrupt end as people familiarize themselves with this hyper-capitalist hyper-zionist shill.

I worked the election, and even I didn’t know who the neo-con leader was until after the fact. Then I promptly forgot again, which is kind of my point.

I say all this, to point out that David Eby should have been absolutely shitting his pants at the thought of running against a faceless party. This should have been something to avoid at all costs. However, rather than be horrified at the prospect, he was downright giddy. So much so that he was willing to take the black eye he’d get from his slimy, underhanded, predatory, and objectively anti-democratic snap election. The upside was only turning two remaining years of a majority into four years, but why think about that when we have the golden opportunity to cut off our nose just to spit in our face!

This reminded me of something I hadn’t thought of in years.

I’m actually really interested in what the sorceress has to say. What her politics are. What her diplomatic platform is.

“Lowlifes. Shameless filthy wretches.”

No, wrong. Open with a joke or something you’re losing them.

Actually, if you’re listening, the crowd still seems firmly behind her. Yaayyyyyyy!

“How you celebrate my ascension with such joy. Hailing the very one whom you have condemned for generations. Have you no shame? What happened to the evil, ruthless sorceress from your fantasies? The coldblooded tyrant that slaughtered countless men and destroyed many nations? She stands before your very eyes to become your new ruler. HAHAHAHAHAHA.”

Uhm, sorceress, you’re going way off the prompter.

“No one can help you. Sit back and enjoy the show.”

And then she rips off the president’s entire soul in front of the entire nation, and instead of panicking they’re loving it! Just listen to ’em. They’re still cheering even when she threatens to destroy them as well.

“Rest assured you fools, your time will come. Let us start a new reign of terror!”

Note to all neo-lib/con politicians. Everyone hates you. If given the opportunity to choose between you and a stapler, the peasants will choose the stapler, and the closest thing to a stapler is an unknown.

It’s bizarre, because the Democracy Managers seem to understand how crucially important the occasional changing of shirts is, to provide a pressure release valve for the Goyim. The only thing that can explain Eby’s moronic blunder is that these people live in such a bubble that they honestly believe that people actually do really like them. Alternatively, he lost intentionally, but I wouldn’t bet on that. I just think these people are legitimately delusional.

The other major issue in the election was the repudiation of DRIPA. For those who don’t know, it was a particularly deranged neo-liberalism, amounting to little more than blatant theft of land by aboriginals. It became quite a serious, practical issue when courts declared that 300 hectares of land in Richmond suddenly belonged to the Cowichan Nation. To no surprise, the neo-cons swept all six seats in Richmond and Delta, because, while this might surprise some, people get really pissed when their houses get stolen from them.

Reminds me of something.

The neo-cons promised to repeal it. I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t, but if they do, I have to begrudgingly acknowledge that they actually were a better option than the neo-libs.
