CBC:

British Columbia is ending an arrangement with Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) to hold immigration detainees in provincial correctional centres, saying it doesn’t align with its stance on human rights.

Public Safety Minister Mike Farnworth said in a statement Thursday the province conducted a review that analyzed its contract with the agency, including public safety, and consulted with advocacy groups.

“The review brought to light that aspects of the arrangement do not align with our government’s commitment to upholding human rights standards or our dedication to pursuing social justice and equity for everyone,” he said.

I’m sure you’re tired of hearing this by now, but notice how these “human rights activists,” never go after the mass murder propagandists who lie us into wars. They’re also all mass censorship activists, but not for the people who use lies to achieve the mass murder of hundreds of thousands of innocent Middle Easterners. Or the people who perpetratred the Gravocaust Slander. But if you say “that’s a mentally ill man in a dress,” to the below creature, woah there. Got ourselves a bigotphobe human rights denialist on our hands.

The report said the number of immigration detainees in provincial custody is declining but provincial jails are used to holding “high risk detainees.” It also noted that while CBSA compensates B.C. Corrections to hold detainees, it does not cover the total cost.

“This is a trend that is likely to continue given the overall reduction in the number of detainees in provincial custody. If the arrangement ended, these are resources that could be used to support B.C. Corrections’ clients, including individuals in custody with complex needs and behaviours,” it said.

The move comes following calls from human rights advocates in B.C. urging the province to end its contract with the CBSA and stop incarcerating immigrants and refugees in provincial jails.

In other words, they’re emptying out the prisons. Not because these people are committing less crimes, but because they want them out of prisons so they can go and terrorize your community. They want as many Jupiter Paulsen’s as possible.

A coalition of human rights organizations and advocates — including the B.C. Civil Liberties Association (BCCLA), Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International — launched a campaign in October urging Canadians to call on the provincial government to stop allowing the CBSA to use provincial jails to lock up people seeking asylum.

The BC Civil Liberties Association made news during the Gravocaust Summer, when their head, Harsha Walia, tweeted “burnt it all down,” in celebration of church arsons.

CBC:

The executive director of the B.C. Civil Liberties Association has resigned following a controversial post on social media.

Harsha Walia came under fire for a tweet about the burning of two Roman Catholic churches after the discovery of what are believed to be unmarked graves at a former residential school in Kamloops. “Burn it all down,” she wrote.

Indigenous groups were among those who criticized Walia for encouraging violence, although the Union of B.C. Indian Chiefs defended her stance.

I wrote about Harsha Walia extensively on my old site, and I still need to port that stuff over. Suffice to say, she’s a textbook Kosher-Leftist, who is literally funded by the Rothschilds. She’s also made videos about “racial capitalism,” where she says that there are a lot of White billionaires, and that’s bad. Of course she says nothing about jew billionaires, because she’s just an anti-White cunt. Nevertheless, the CBC is pretending that the BCCLA is an organization to be taken seriously, and not just an anti-White hate group trying to get as many Third Worlders into your community as possible.

According to campaign organizers, between April 2019 and March 2020, almost 9,000 people were in immigration detention in Canada, including 138 infants and children. Since 2000, at least 16 people have died in these detention centres.

Get a load of this idiotic propaganda. About 9,000 people are in immigration detention at any one time. Over the past 20 years, 16 of those people have died. This equates to sixteen of 180,000 people. Maybe someone should go and explain to these faggots that people do in fact occasionally die due to natural causes. Although of course, they know, they’re just pretending to be retarded so as to insinuate that these non-Canadians were murdered.

B.C. Human Rights Commissioner Kasari Govender, who called on the province to end its participation in immigration detention, says the practice is a human rights violation and she’s hopeful this will spark greater change.

Well enough of that. Paul Delaney in the comments hits the nail on the head. It’s a comment so good I’m transcribing it, just in case it’s too hard to read.

I wonder what the entire population of BC thinks about all this. All I hear is what some advocacy groups want. Why do our governments only listen to the whiners and not engage the entire population. Reason is that most people are fine with things or you’d hear about it, and most of those people are working and don’t have the time, and they don’t form advocacy groups. But the wider population is not consulted. They listen to and meet with various groups that may represent 100 people. That needs to change. The people need to be consulted!

It’s nice to see something like this in the CBC comments sections of all places. Yes, Paul, Fake Democracy is indeed fake. There does exist a parasite class, or privileged class if you would prefer, that gets everything they want at your expense. You, the average, everyday people, are not consulted. To the extent that your opinion is even considered, it’s viewed purely as an obstacle to overcome. And unless you have an organized activist group working on your behalf, you have quite literally zero political power, even if 99% of the populace wants what you want.

These people ought to be asked for a list of laws whose enforcement would be deemed a violation of ‘human rights’ — I’d like to see that list.
