Democrats swept closely watched races across the country in the first electoral test of President Donald Trump‘s second term.
Zohran Mamdani won the mayoral contest in New York City, Abigail Spanberger and Mikie Sherrill were elected governor in Virginia and New Jersey, respectively, and early results indicated that Prop. 50 − a redistricting measure designed to push back against Republicans’ redrawing of maps in GOP-led states − has succeeded in California.
I’ll circle back to Mamdani in a second. But first, just how badly did Republicans lose in Virginia and New Jersey?
The November 4 elections found Democrats enjoying a mini-blue wave as their candidates enjoyed a long list of victories — including double-digit wins in Virginia’s gubernatorial race (former Rep. Abigail Spanberger), New Jersey’s gubernatorial race (Rep. Mikie Sherrill) and New York City’s mayoral race (State Assemblyman Zohran Mandami). Those races were called by the Associated Press (AP) as well as CNN and ABC News.
Spanberger, according to AP, defeated her GOP opponent, Virginia Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears, by roughly 13 percent. But according to GOP pollster Frank Luntz, the size of Spanberger’s victory is reflected by not only the total numbers, but the individual counties.
On X, formerly Twitter, Luntz posted, “Every single county in Virginia shifted blueward tonight.”
Luntz posted a county-by-county breakdown for Virginia, a key swing state. And even in the counties that Earle-Sears won, Spanberger posted far larger numbers compared to Democratic candidates of the past.
Fact check: False! Only 91 out of 95 counties swung Democrat. Four tiny counties had miniscule swings in the other direction. Galvanized by the death of worthless shill Charlie Kirk, dozens, maybe even hundreds, more people voted for Republicans in these few select counties, absolutely owning the Libtards.
Trump has used his presidency to Make Israel Great Again while doing nothing domestically except for terrorizing anti-genocide protesters on college campuses and making a big show of deportations while deporting fewer than Obama and promising amnesty for farm workers and an acceleration of the H1B “high skill” labour program. As a result, his net approval ratings are, as of yesterday, at -26%. Yet another Total Victory for the “monomaniacally obsessed with Jews” crowd, and Total Defeat for the Alt-Republican Infiltrators.

Mayor Eric Adams apologized Friday after an old clip resurfaced where the mayor was recorded saying he was a superior cop compared to his “cracker” colleagues during his time in the New York City Police Department.
“Every day in the police department, I kicked those crackers’ ass,” now-mayor Adams says in the video at a private Harlem Business Alliance event in 2019.

An ex-educator claiming the de Blasio administration knowingly permitted “racial harassment” against white staffers in the public school system — during anti-bias training sessions and in the workplace — can sue NYC, a federal appellate court ruled this week.

Among multiple instances cited by the judges, a senior executive in the DOE’s Office of Equity and Access was quoted as saying in a diversity training session: “There is white toxicity in the air, and we all breathe it in.”
“Negative generalizations and stereotypes about white people were targeted specifically at Chislett during the trainings” in 2018, the judges found, when supervisors and staffers accused her of exhibiting traits of white supremacy.
“When Chislett disciplined or managed subordinates, she was allegedly called racist and labeled ‘white and fragile,’” the decision states.
“How dare you approach me out of your white privilege!” an underling is quoted as snapping at Chislett, who asked the staffer why she was late to a meeting she was supposed to help lead.
The city settled with the three women in April 2024 for a total $2.1 million, or $700,000 each.
Perry has not filed any similar lawsuits under Mayor Adams’ administration, she said. “The policy we sued over was developed by Mayor de Blasio and Chancellor Carranza. To date, we have not received similar complaints.”

Mamdani, AOC, and Bernie Sanders are the equivalent of Trump, but for the butthole-left. While the standard Republican Apparatchik doesn’t pretend to have anything to offer anyone but neoconservatism, Trump promises relatively popular policies and then doesn’t do shit. Likewise, the standard Corporate Democrat doesn’t pretend to support socialist healthcare, or blocking aid to Israel, but the Justice Democrats do and then just never follow through. The supporters of both groups have eerily similar copes to excuse their chosen fake representatives refusal to do anything for them.

Despite some reservations I will be voting Zohran Mamdani for mayor of NYC for the following reasons in order of importance:
Zionists are presently the greatest threat to the United States and the world. They control our congress, our presidency, and much of our legal system. They have primarily directed the endless wars of aggression we have launched since 9/11 and are barreling us towards an apocalyptic war with Iran. Even if Mamdani backs down from a confrontation, and it seems like he already has, the message that you can win in an election in the nerve center of American Zionism without completely kowtowing to these genocidal freaks will encourage more defections.
So they’re not getting policy, but they’re moving the Overton Window. Where have I heard that before?
Landlords are parasites who contribute nothing to society. This is hardly communism, to quote David Ricardo “The interest of the landlords is always opposed to the interest of every other class in the community.” Landlords do not produce value, they are just overhead on the real economy. Rent control is a blunt instrument and a good first step but really the government needs to be building and owning housing. If you go to Vienna you’ll see that rent is cheap because 25% of the housing stock is owned by the government. It’s one of the most beautiful and livable cities in the world. During the New Deal the government built housing in New York. It’s not a coincidence that the total population of Brooklyn is almost unchanged since 1950 but average rent has gone from 15% of income to 50%. Again even if Mamdani backs down from a confrontation with these leeches his victory will help educate more Americans about the existence of our rentier class and what can be done about it. Things will keep getting worse until they are brought to heel.

Mamdani seems to take public safety seriously, supports involuntary commitment, and recognizes that making NYC safe will be the major test of his mayorship. On one hand it’s unfair that homelessness, aggressive behavior, and open air drug use increased so much under neoliberal governance yet the “left” gets blamed for it but it’s true that the American left often espouses embarrassing views on these issues. Seeing people inject heroin on the subway is not “just part of living in a city.” It’s extremely anti social and damaging to communal life. Shanghai is every bit as much of a global city as NYC yet it does not have these problems. These are policy choices.
I truly do loathe rightoids, but that’s mostly because I have more exposure to them. The traffic trannies were totally insufferable, and I can’t imagine the pain of having to tard-wrangle leftoids.
On the e-right you get to waste your time debating Christ is Kang LARPers, Revolutionary Republican Party Outsiders, Vaxtard Conspiracy Bros, Both Sides-ers, and annoying, reactionary pussies. Even with around 10% of the vote left to count, turnout has already exceeded the Mayoral primary four years ago. However in large parts of New York, particularly Black and Asian areas, turnout is down, in some cases by a lot. It was white voters, and moreso progressive and young white voters, who turned out in record numbers.

Practically every group that Mamdani struggled with—older voters, Black voters, conservative whites— saw anemic turnout on Tuesday. There simply wasn’t a big groundswell of opposition to him, despite the many millions spent on negative ads. The one exception to this, however, was Jewish voters. This demographic saw robust turnout and gave few votes to Mamdani, especially in the Upper East Side and Upper West Side, as well as ultra-Orthodox enclaves.
A constant refrain from ZOG shills, such as Patrick Casey earlier in this article, is that we need to tone down the soCIalIsM and ThIRd WolRDiSt anti-war stuff, because that’s not popular with the reactionary Boomercons who brag about their mixed race grandchildren in between cheerleading for Republicans and denouncing the evil natzees who are actually serious about the policies servatives pretend to care about.
