We now know why Facebook decided to change its “race-blind” hate speech detection algorithm last year to allow more anti-white hatred.
The Washington Post reported last week that an “April 2020 document said roughly 90 percent of ‘hate speech’ subject to content takedowns were statements of contempt, inferiority and disgust directed at White people and men.”
They viewed this as a failure of the system because white people are supposed to be the targets of all hate.
I’d never heard of Information Liberation before today. They’ve got a few good things on that website. Fortunately, while they are trapped inside the Kosher Sandwhich, their articles have plenty of actual journalistic value.
And the original post they link to is just… something else. Below is an ealier article of theirs from December of last year. That article is mostly quoting a Washington Post article, and I’ve left their bolded parts as is.
Washington Post:
As one way to assess severity, Facebook assigned different types of attacks numerical scores weighted based on their perceived harm. For example, the company’s systems would now place a higher priority on automatically removing statements such as “Gay people are disgusting” than “Men are pigs.”
Facebook has long banned hate speech — defined as violent or dehumanizing speech — based on race, gender, sexuality and other protected characteristics. It owns Instagram and has the same hate speech policies there. But before the overhaul, the company’s algorithms and policies did not make a distinction between groups that were more likely to be targets of hate speech versus those that have not been historically marginalized. Comments like “White people are stupid” were treated the same as anti-Semitic or racist slurs.
In the first phase of the project, which was announced internally to a small group in October, engineers said they had changed the company’s systems to deprioritize policing contemptuous comments about “Whites,” “men” and “Americans.” Facebook still considers such attacks to be hate speech, and users can still report it to the company. However, the company’s technology now treats them as “low-sensitivity” — or less likely to be harmful — so that they are no longer automatically deleted by the company’s algorithms. That means roughly 10,000 fewer posts are now being deleted each day, according to the documents.
Though Zuckerberg is allowing more anti-White hatred on Facebook, just a few months ago he announced he was banning all content which depicts “Jewish people running the world or controlling major institutions such as media networks, the economy or the government” as well as all Holocaust denial.
I’ve never really understood how people can be so completely correct on things like “look at this preferential treatment Zuckerberg is giving to jews,” and still call yourself a Conservative fighting against “the radical socialist left.” I mean, these people collude with trillion dollar multinationals to censor anti-War activists. Calling them anti-White, jew nationalist pedophile supporters is far more accurate, and far more cutting, because it delegitimizes their politics.
Here’s the rest of the statement from Facebook.
Facebook spokesman Andy Stone defended the company’s decisions around its hate speech policies and how it conducted its relationship with the civil rights auditors.
“The Worst of the Worst project helped show us what kinds of hate speech our technology was and was not effectively detecting and understand what forms of it people believe to be the most insidious,” Stone said in a statement.
He said progress on racial issues included policies such as banning white nationalist groups, prohibiting content promoting racial stereotypes — such as people wearing blackface or claims that Jews control the media — and reducing the prevalence of hate speech to 0.03 percent of content on the platform.
[…] These findings about the most objectionable content held up even among self-identified White conservatives that the market research team traveled to visit in Southern states. Facebook researchers sought out the views of White conservatives in particular because they wanted to overcome potential objections from the company’s leadership, which was known to appease right-leaning viewpoints, two people said.
Yet racist posts against minorities weren’t what Facebook’s own hate speech detection algorithms were most commonly finding. The software, which the company introduced in 2015, was supposed to detect and automatically delete hate speech before users saw it. Publicly, the company said in 2019 that its algorithms proactively caught more than 80 percent of hate speech.
But this statistic hid a serious problem that was obvious to researchers: The algorithm was aggressively detecting comments denigrating White people more than attacks on every other group, according to several of the documents. One April 2020 document said roughly 90 percent of “hate speech” subject to content takedowns were statements of contempt, inferiority and disgust directed at White people and men, though the time frame is unclear.
According to Facebook, 90% of hate speech are directed specifically at White Men. And that’s even after these jew nationalists did work to bias against White Nationalist organizations. Not jew nationalist organizations of course, despite the jew ethnostate recently murdering 232 Palestinians in a violent racial cleansing in East Jerusalem.
…While holding up signs saying “kill them all,” and “death to arabs.”
Keep in mind that 65 of the goyim murdered by jew nationalists in the latest violent racial cleansing they’ve done were children.
I’m sure that (((Facebook))) and the (((ADL))) are just seconds away from banning jew nationalist organizations.
Personally, I actually think this is a good thing. The algorithm worked similarly to YouTube’s, where tons of comments get auto-banned and filtered out. It’s actually better that the public sees the anti-White hate speech, because that’s our best propaganda.
There is a reason why (((Seth Rogen))) deleted the bottom tweet after all. We want more of this.
