A few days ago I wrote a somewhat satirical piece on Active Club, specifically the Canadian Chapter. This was prompted by the Canadian Anti-Hate Network endorsing them by attacking them. For as Emma Watson would say, “to be hated by the Canadian Anti-Hate Network is to be endorsed by god.”
At the end of their piece I realized that I recognized the “Josh,” from that piece. I won’t put his image here, nor his last name, but they mentioned an assault he was the victim of in Vancouver. He had actually told me about that, and even shown me pictures of the messages he had found online, where antifas were celebrating the assault.
Unfortunately, I don’t have these messages saved anywhere, so I had to look up the story for myself.
A member of a controversial right-wing men’s group, the Proud Boys, was hospitalized last weekend after an assault inside a bathroom at a Vancouver bar. Josh, a 27-year-old from Langley, said he and two other members of the Vancouver chapter of the B.C. Proud Boys were having pints at the Astoria on Hastings Street on Saturday night — their third visit to the pub since the spring — when he was attacked by up to four people.
Josh asked that he only be identified by his first name, saying he was concerned for his safety after seeing online chatter indicating that people sought to cause him further harm.
Josh said that after using a urinal, he turned around and was struck repeatedly in the head, neck and body with a blunt object. A Proud Boys T-shirt he was wearing was ripped from his body.
He stumbled out of the bathroom, dazed and bloodied, and his friends came to help him. When the trio asked bar staff to call police, the staff were dismissive, Josh claimed. His assailants haven’t been identified.
His assailants were identified, or at least there were pretty good leads. I think it was Discord messages that they found with some antifas taking credit. He said that the Vancouver Police simply refused to press assault charges, despite him being hospitalized.
Vanessa, 30, who was working at the bar that night, said bar staff urged the Proud Boys to phone police themselves. She said staff had previously asked the group not to come to the bar, as their presence had annoyed patrons.
She said the Proud Boys’ beliefs are at odds with the Astoria, which has long been home to alternative events such as punk music shows, feminist-organized amateur strip nights and dance parties for people of all sexual orientations.
Vanessa said that after the assault, the Proud Boys threatened female bar staff. A portion of proceeds from an event that night was being donated to Women Against Violence Against Women, she said.
We know that they are known for ‘triggering’ behaviour, that provocation is part of their charter
She also asked that her last name not be published after she, her friends and their employers were bombarded with threats from self-proclaimed Proud Boys and their supporters on social media. Screenshots and public posts confirm this.
Screenshots and public posts that apparently these propagandists didn’t see fit to publish. And this cunt Vanessa as much as admits that he was assaulted, using the typical antifa type language. Your mere existence to these people is a “provocation,” that they are entitled to respond to.
Josh said that after the assault, he and the other Proud Boys went outside the bar and were offered help by patrons. Josh left on a bus with another Proud Boy and checked himself into hospital in Langley, out of concern he’d sustained a concussion or internal bleeding. He made a report to police on Sunday.
Funny, because that Vanessa cunt said that the Proud Boys were annoying patrons. But material reality appears that normal people hate antifas, and like the Proud Boys. Weird how that works.
Also, Josh’s injuries were mostly a bleeding head. Antifas are also complete and utter bitches, who can’t even properly assault a drunk guy at a urinal when they outnumber him four to one. But just because they’re the worlds worst terrorist organization, does not make them not a terrorist organization.
The incident now has both sides concerned about their safety and that of their peers, and criticizing the online threats and real violence arising from clashes over conflicting ideologies.
The Proud Boys have been added to the Astoria’s list of banned customers, said Vanessa. The Proud Boys won’t return anyway because they don’t wish to be involved in another clash, said Josh.
Remember, 100% of political violence is initiated by antifa.
Const. Jason Doucette said Vancouver police received a report Nov. 12 about a “disturbance” at the Astoria on Nov. 11 between 9 and 10 p.m.
“As for who was involved, or the exact nature of the incident, we do not have additional information to share at this time,” Doucette said.
“Public safety is a priority for the VPD. We have to be cautious when publicly sharing information so we do not inadvertently identify a victim, witness or suspect.”
We once again see how the legal system actually works in Canada. Once again, the police/crown have complete discretion to charge anyone with crimes, or not charge anyone with crimes. This is a totally opaque system, and you have no legal recourse against it. Something I’ve been hammering home through my series of call-ins with the police.
Last Canada Day, five Proud Boys disrupted an Indigenous ceremony in downtown Halifax. The men — all servicemen with the Canadian Armed Forces — were quickly condemned by their superiors, relieved of their duties and reassigned to other jobs during an investigation. All but one eventually returned to duty. McInnes defended their actions.
Vanessa said such behaviour would never be tolerated by patrons at the Astoria, many of whom are Indigenous. She said staff have recently received an increasing number of complaints of harassment or intimidation from patrons, in part due to groups like the Proud Boys coming to the bar.
Oh no! I’m sure that’s a real thing that definitely happened.
“I feel very protective of that space. I’m almost always able to maintain it as a safe space, until recently,” she said. “Especially in the last few months, we’ve seen a shift in attitude and in behaviour. It gets really toxic.”
Listening to these antifas talk, you’d think that a guy got violently assaulted in this residence. Well that did happen, but they support that. I mean you’d think that they’ve been getting violently assaulted by some biker gangs constantly or something.
Vanessa said that while she, too, doesn’t condone violence, she believes the Proud Boys should be aware that “playing dress-up” can have consequences in how they’re perceived in public spaces — not unlike wearing gang colours. “We know that they are known for ‘triggering’ behaviour, that provocation is part of their charter,” she said.
“When you’re in a punk community, you need to be aware of the people that are infiltrating your subculture with more dubious intent. It might seem to them that what they’re doing is harmless, that it’s stupid, that we’re liberal pussies for getting scared of a shirt.
“But when you’ve been in that neighbourhood for as long as I have — for as long as our regulars have — you know that a shirt means more than just a shirt and that if you wear a shirt like that, you might have to face that some of the locals are not going to be thrilled about you being there.”
I really don’t think there’s a group of people I hate more than antifas. It’s the combination of knowing full well that they are a group of worthless scum that is privileged over normal people by a malicious international parasite class, while constantly pretending that they’re these horribly downtrodden group of angels. But then they also combine that with tough talk, while knowing full well that any group of even boomers could slaughter them with trivial ease.
What a disgusting group of low class parasites.
A pathetic group of hyper-losers who have nothing to offer society, and have no motivation other than getting back at average everyday people who have been socially rejecting them for their entire lives.
These types are why I’ve always hated the “no fedposting,” faggots. These people are scum. If you want to say that they should be getting their heads sawed off, you go right ahead. I’ll figure out how to defend you in court later.
