For the backstory, go here and here.

NBC News:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Legislation designed to restrict where certain drag shows can take place passed the Tennessee Senate on Thursday, the latest bill state Republican leaders have advanced targeting LGBTQ people.

If only.

Under the Senate’s bill, the words “drag show” are not explicitly stated. Instead, the legislation would expand the definition of adult cabaret in Tennessee’s law to include that such “adult-oriented performances that are harmful to minors,” as defined in Tennessee’s obscenity law.

In other words, they want to be seen as doing something while not actually doing anything. They don’t name drag shows, and they have this wishy washy language about “harmful to minors.” This will get ruined in courts, to the extent they even bother enforcing it. Compare this to the anti-Goyim bill DeSantis is supporting in Florida. Or the anti-BDS bills that these shills all promote.

The legislation then bans adult cabaret from taking place on public property or in a location where minors might be present.

FFS. These are not cabaret shows. These are boy hungry pedophiles getting an excuse to have young children sit on their laps.

So the above is still allowed, even assuming they enforce this law.

“We don’t want to have the door open that they can go see advertent nudity and sexual acts or the depiction of sexual acts,” said Republican Sen. Becky Massey. “I’m sorry, that’s not what Tennessee is about.”

No, instead they’ll just be fondled by convicted sex offenders. Or CSAM collectors. Or more CSAM collectors.

In Tennessee and across the country, drag has been cast in a false light by right-wing activists and politicians who complain about the “sexualization” or “grooming” of children.

What could possibly give the Goyim that insane impression?

It’s not like the entire purpose of the LGBTQIA++AIDSBBQ movement is about getting groomers access to children. That’s just a natzee conspiracy theory.

Drag does not typically involve nudity or stripping, which are more common in burlesque, a separate form of entertainment. Explicitly sexual and profane language is common in performances meant for adult audiences. These routines can consist of stand-up comedy that may be raunchy — or may pale in comparison with some mainstream comedians.

But of course the finkle-left has a point here. The issue is not some hyper specific thing involving certain dance moves. The issue is boy hungry pedophiles getting access to children. While it could theoretically be a good move to do incrementalism in legislation on these types of things, rest assured, that’s not what the Republicans are doing here. Just like they hyper focused on “Critical Race Theory” instead of “anti-White hate propaganda curriculum,” they do so to intentionally miss the mark while pretending to do something.

Nevertheless, they didn’t want to have to even pretend to do this, so kudos to the Tennessee NJP guys for organizing this.

  1. Another problem is parents who take their kids to these events; there appears to be a lot of them — mostly looks like fat single mothers, but you do see some males/fathers too — it’s bizarre that 1) anyone would find drag interesting enough to actually go there (I wouldn’t walk across the street), and 2) they would take the kids.
