The head of the Biden administration’s disinformation-fighting advisory group has resigned, she told Reuters on Wednesday and the Department of Homeland Security said it had paused the group’s activities.
Nina Jankowicz, who started work as the executive director of the DHS’s Disinformation Governance Board in March, said she was expecting a baby and “spending time with my family is first priority”.
Get a load of this cope. She really wanted to censor everybody, but then she found out she was pregnant, and now she’s just forced to let all of you goyim fact check the WMD Liars.
“In the fall, I plan to continue the work I’ve done throughout my career building awareness of disinformation in the public sphere, working on issues related to Russia’s war in Ukraine, and continuing my work related to women’s online expression,” she said.
Yeah, cool story bro. When are the WMD Liars, I’m sorry, the WMD “disinformers,” being oven’d off twatter? Oh never? Okay then.
The board’s creation and the last month’s announcement that Jankowicz had been appointed to run it provoked a fierce reaction from right-wing critics and drew skepticism from some experts in the field.
Because this is Reuters we’re dealing with they have to pretend that there exists such things as “disinformation experts”. Who are they? Well, we don’t know because Reuters doesn’t bother explaining to us.
Anyway I was tipped off to this by FTN, but this Peter Doocy guy asks a great question to the Black Lesbian who replaced certified MILF Jen Psaki as press secretary. The goys at Project MILFitas had more on that if you’re curious.

Peter Doocy: Last week you guys said that you needed this Disinformation Governance Board (DHS) to make sure that freedom of speech is protected across the country and that these platforms are not used for forms of disinformation, so what changed?
Karine “MILF replacer” Jean-Pierre: Look, the department of homeland security they began their statement repeating that the board had been intentionally mischaracterized which is a little bit of what you were asking me and they were explicit about what it does and does not do. It was never about censorship,
policing speech,
or removing content from anywhere.
Its function was to keep homeland security officials aware of how bad actors, including human smugglers, transnational criminal organizations and foreign adversaries could use disinformation to advance their goals.
As secretary Marco says he has asked former DHS secretary Michael Chertoff and former DAG Jamie Gorelick to lead a thorough review. This is the pause that I was talking about, and assessment as members of the bipartisan homeland security council advisory council. The board will not convene during that period, but the departments worked across several administrations to address disinformation that threatens the security for our country is critical so that work will continue. So that work is going to continue.
Boy this broad really just drones on forever. I get that she’s trying to sell a turd, and that’s difficult, but I can’t help but think that 6.5/10 MILF Jen Psaki would have done a better job.
Peter Doocy: So if it’s pausing because you think the board was mischaracterized, then the disinformation board is being shut down because disinformation?
I’m not wasting my time transcribing the rest of her response because it’s tedious and no one cares. It’s another four minutes of her transparently filibustering and annoying me.
The Washington Post first reported news of Jankowicz’s resignation and a pause to the board’s activity.
Although some experts had doubts about the appropriateness of a disinformation board operating out of DHS, they condemned the attacks on Jankowicz.
That means those attacks were good and you should do them more.
“I welcome the pausing of the ‘Disinformation Governance Board’ after just 3 weeks – I believe this was a major strategic error of the administration,” said Emma Briant, a visiting research associate at Bard College in New York state.
Okay, whatever. I don’t care who this Emma Briant is or what she says. Get a load of Nina Jankowicz singing about disinformation to the tune of that “Supercalifragalisticexpialodicious” Mary Poppins song. I’ll warn you though, the cringe factor is quite high.
But she said on Twitter that it was “utterly abhorrent” that Jankowicz had been turned into a punching bag.
Well maybe she shouldn’t have been evil and also retarded. Typically most people opt for one or the other. If you’re both, then people have all the motivation in the World to point and laugh at you. And now she’s been kicked off the internet.
Which is her low time preference strategy for winning the information war, no doubt. Or maybe her book title wasn’t ironic and she’s secretly /ourjew/ and has been acting retarded on purpose.
