Or more accurately I just finished fleshing it out. I realized that one of the difficulties I had describing the site to people, whether they be the concerned parents, or random people on Poast, was that I wasn’t entirely sure myself. What is the point of The Daily Rake?
Originally with the Hyphen Report, the site was supposed to serve as a news aggregator with something of a personal touch. There’s something to be said for that, but Colon Report is a far better news aggregator than I ever could be. I have a certain writing style that leads to longer pieces, and I’ve never been a fan of just linking a certain piece without much commentary.
Instead what I want to do is essentially fill in the gaps, whatever they might be. That could manifest itself as my work on the Cult of the Manlet, Or exposing some e-grifting idiot. Or my work exposing some anti-White court rulings and providing the backstory on the Jupiter Paulsen case, or exposing the systematic abuse of children by perverts in Canada. It could be some informative piece that I felt needed to be written. It could also be something that everyone else is writing about, if I feel the need to amplify the message. If I feel it needs to be written, then I’ll have something on it.
I believe that you the audience deserve to be entertained, first and foremost. But the ultimate goal for this site is not to make content on the internet. The ultimate goal is political. We want to get a serious political party started, both here in Canada, as well as around the World. And to do that we need critical mass, to eventually translate into real life activism.
For now, all you need to do is check The Daily Rake every day. Follow us on Poast, Telegram, and subscribe to us on YouTube, as well as Odysee.
As an aside, I did take a moment to look up my site on Similar Web. I’ve heard that these things are notoriously unreliable at best, but it’s nice to see things moving in the right direction.
One hundred and fifteen views in April translates to about 3k views per day. I don’t know how long I’ll have to wait to see the views from May, but considering the happenings from then, I’d be shocked if we didn’t see another close to doubling of views.
It’s also nice to see a good amount of my traffic coming from Canada specifically, as we are trying to get political organization in this country.
Once again, take all this with a grain of salt, but it’s always nice to see such a healthy site progression.
